ISU new turf

I like your design much better, That Bengal head at Midfield looks sweet, but instead of putting the IS at the 25 I would put the Big SKy logo

ISU is not going to put BSC logos on the field. The thought is that it clutters up the field and ISU is going for a clean look. Maybe there is some truth to the WAC rumors.

But instead they put the interlocking "IS". I could see why they think it clutters up the field though. I could also see the ISU joining the WAC.

If you could, how would you redesign ODU's field? I personally think they could have done more with the endzones.

Figure I might give you another challenge.

Nice, I like it! It's different and good to see a different design. I think what they have now is just to bland.

Wasn't really sure what else to do...ISU's fits with the tiger stripes, and I was thinking of something cat-like for ODU, but they all looked awkward. I wouldn't mind seeing the field actually like that. Nothing too outlandish.

And monkeys might fly out of my butt. Like I said this is a vast improvement for ISU, but they should have put the conference logo on there.

Cal Poly and Southern Utah will have grass fileds when they join the Big Sky in 2012. UND really needs to upgrade their old style astro turf and SUU's turf get a little rough late in the season.

Sort of surprised Poly plays on grass......I would have thought with the heat down there it'd be a lot more convenient to put turf in.

Ndsu is getting field turf in 2012. I believe the Fargodome has already approved it. Lighting this year and field turf next year.

I believe und has plans to replace theirs, but not certain on the time frame.

Yeah, I wish they could have gone with some sort of color in the endzones instead of just leaving them green with "Monarchs" in blue lettering.

Sapper, this is something for ISU fans to get excited about. Although it was not finished, I did get to see this in person yesterday and it really looks sharp.

It's not hot in SLO unless the Santa Anas are blowing. Coastal CA is very moderate in temp. with the water temp never exceeding 70 F. Route 1 goes right through the CPSLO campus. The advantage they have is that the grass is still growing late in the season, unlike in northern climes.

Now they gotta replace that old hangar around it.
