Liberty gets 1-A transfer from UVa.
The lad was offered by Liberty 18-20 months ago, gave a verbal to UR (before London went to Ch'ville), decides to "return":

He was a walk-on so he'll have 4 years of eligibility at Liberty.

Re: Liberty gets 1-A transfer from UVa.
Liberty gets picked on too much here and on the CAAzone...every FCS school that actually has 1+ fans reports 1A transfers and they are happy to get them. Poor Liberty can't get a break anywhere which I'm assuming has a lot do do with Jerry Fallwell's well publicized opinions... Liberty has a lot of good things going on, a very good QB/TE combo, a nice stadium, a good fan base and now a UVA transfer...
Many JMU posters act as if they don't like the home and home schedule with Liberty as if Libertyn is a scab program which they are not IMO. Liberty may draw 20,000 this year when JMU goes to Lynchburg and they may kick JMU's ass if Mickey pulls out the playbook that could be written on a postage stamp i.e. run up the middle every play. Every time we play them we nearly find a way to lose and they want it bad.
Good on Liberty for landing a player they wanted...as if the rest of us would not take that very player

It's hard for some people to support an institution founded by a person so full of intolerance.

Yeah, we may have another I-A transfer or two to report once camp opens. And for the record, kdinva is a VMI man.

Yes, it is ironic that someone who supposedly followed Jesus would be so hateful.Sly Fox wrote: Does the irony of this post strike anyone else but me?![]()

Of course. Jesus would never get so angry confronting sin that he would start throwing around temple tables. Wait, what? Let the record state that I was not the one who turned this into a thread about religion. I am perfectly content to stick to football.

You'll be joining your buddy Jerry in hell, if it actually exists.Sly Fox wrote:Of course. Jesus would never get so angry confronting sin that he would start throwing around temple tables. Wait, what? (Matthew 21:12)93henfan wrote:

You are completely entitled to your opinion and I respect that you have your position. I'd just ask that the same level of tolerance that I am offering to you be shared in turn. I realize that is a crazy concept.

Since Liberty is 99.99% Conservative, an angry Jesus next to Obama is not the best way to prove thatWedgebuster wrote:Take a look at this-
