Well, the Simon Fraser thing has been in the works for quite some time now.

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

Lived in the Minot area from 1986 until my retirement from the Air Force in 1991. Met a lot of really great people there, and that's one of the many reasons why I'd like to see Minot State do well.

The Point Loma Nazarene move got an article in the UT here. It basically stated the NCAA is trying to generate a larger west coast presence in DII. CSU San Marcos (inland north SD County) was rejected in 2010. They are reapplying next year.
