Wow - Kevin Kolb really was in demand
Eagles get Rogers-Cromartie & a #2 for Kolb, who gets a $63M contract extension from AZ.

IMO Vick can win games, Kolb is a QB that can just help you avoid losing games. Vick should have 2-4 more good years in him, so they should be OK for now.DJH wrote:eagles shoulda kept Kolb, and dumped Vick.

Maybe, maybe not. But how do you know? He only has played a few games. You know what you are going to get with Vick, and he has a ceiling.

You gotta have a QB. You can replace defensive backs, but if you don't have a QB you are done in the NFL.dbackjon wrote:89Hen wrote: I think he's better than what you had.

I think its a good move to take a chance like this on a guy like Kolb. Especially for Az, who has nobody to play QB.

It's a guess based on what I have seen. I've definitely been wrong about drop back passers before though. I can tell you that I was horrified at the prospect of Matt Schaub leading UVA his senior season. He looked like crap prior to that year. Now he's a top 10 QB in the NFL.DJH wrote:Maybe, maybe not. I was right on McNabb being a bust last year though.

Kolb is greater than Skelton and Orton put together. That being said, I see NO reason to have thrown in a #2 pick with DRC.dbackjon wrote:Orton.DJH wrote:

I think Kolb will play well for the Cards, but I doubt they'll be a deep playoff team.
Kyle Orton? The ESPN jaggoffs were slobbing the guy's knob earlier in the week saying Miami had to have him. I guess I don't understand what everyone sees in him.
