Come to think of it, there was as much silence in the Griz Den that day after the game as there is on this thread.
These signatures have a 500 character limit?
What if I have more personalities than that?

No UD can't make it EVERY year, we have to compete in a conference that actually has real competition...WTAG wrote:I can't remember, did we see you guys in the playoffs last ye...ohh, riiiiiiiiiiiight. Never mind.

Nah, just 10 - we don't think much of Rhode Island - they're kinda like a carbon copy of Portland St.AZGrizFan wrote:GannonFan wrote: So says the fan of the team playing a cupcake conference schedule.

Funny how Albany is a cupcake this year but last year, when you lost to them, they are not a cupcake?????

Since I'm the only that mentioned Albany, I'm thinking that was a response to me...putter wrote:Funny how Albany is a cupcake this year but last year, when you lost to them, they are not a cupcake?????
My s/n should indicate that I'm a Griz fan... kina defeated my attempt at smack... weak as it may be.
My sentiments were basically what you posted. Just not in such a to-the-point manner. I figured UD fans would know exactly what I was getting at.

No Grizball, I knew you were a Griz fan but once you posted about Albany there was nothing from the UD people so I just wanted to rub it in a little.Grizball wrote:Since I'm the only that mentioned Albany, I'm thinking that was a response to me...putter wrote:Funny how Albany is a cupcake this year but last year, when you lost to them, they are not a cupcake?????

Hey, we sucked last year (in large part due to an incredible number of injuries), there is no denying that.Grizball wrote:Ah! No problem; we'll kick the snot out of teams this year. Heck, we might even get another shot at the Griz this year in the playoffs. Since it is a given that you would lose that game if you came here (because you lose every playoff game away from home ), we might even think about coming out your way to make it 2-0.
Then we can say: 49-48 and 48-17!

Don't hold your hand on your A** waiting for THAT to happen....it just might grow there. You might want to actually MAKE the playoffs first, then worry about who/when/where you're meeting.....

UD has made the playoffs 13 times.. Montana 17... now considering that UD plays in a conference that is much stronger than the Big Sky.. four less playoff appearences is not surprising. If you want some proof as to the relative strengths of the two leagues.. take a look at this cold hard fact...
Playoff wins by CAA schools... excluding UD... 27
Playoff wins by Big Sky schools... excluding... Montana... 5.....
I rest my case............

Re: 49-48
Who now. Give me a list of the teams that have left your conference with the quality of Idaho, Boise St and Nevada. Those teams stay in the Big Sky and Montana's record is worse but the overall conference record would, probably, be better. By the way, if we never have another road playoff game, other than the NC, I would not lose an ounce of sleep!!
