Re: My custom made UNI bags boards
I got the purple done. I had it taped out and had Willie's design drawn on the tape and it just didn't look right. The lines just looked too big. So I decided to do something slightly different with it. I'm still going to do the circle around the hole, but I'm just going to do a one inch line of yellow around the outside of the board as a "frame" so to speak.
You can see what I mean with this picture. Fuzzy and grainy because my cell phone camera sucks.
I did this quick mock of up of Willie's but changed it to what I'm going for.

3 coats of gold painted on the first step, and the tape has been removed. Now I have to tape off where the copper color is going to be.

Spent 2 hours free handing the paw this morning and putting the final coat on the "stripe" on each end.

I'm at a standstill with the damn things. I'm trying to figure out how to make the image on the board larger but don't have the means to do it. I need to do some touch up with the gold lines, and take some edges off of the center circle somehow

Finished the pong table this evening. Looks the same as the pic above, just a little shinier.
I've decided to build bag boards with the remaining wood. This is what I'm thinking. Either of these depending on how detailed I wanna get.
And a quick note. The "regs" call for a 2'x4' board, but I'm going 2'x3' to save some wood. With 4', that's a lot of empty, unused space. Plus, with the 2 extra holes I'm doing, you're gonna have to be pretty good to make it in those as they're only 4" in diameter.

I would love to see a huge bong with a school logo on it.
