If you make it up for the NDSU UNI game, stop in the Scheels All Sports and look to your right when you walk in the building, you'll see how Scheels promotes NDSU.

How many millions have they dontated to those schools again? So you're telling me there is an entire section at the front door of all those stores with a Hall of Fame section of each said school? Well if so, good for Scheels, always good to support the local teams in the towns they do business in, only makes sense, right? If you've got a picture of the UNI Hall of Fame at the Cedar Falls store, post it, it would be cool to see. Listen, I know it's not that big of a deal, the HOF, but neither is some ad that happened to not include NDSU, pretty clear to see the relationship between the Scheels family and NDSU. If you do come to Fargo, take the time to stop in, it's a pretty nice store and I'm not talking about the NDSU section.

I get NDSU is in the same city as the corporate location...the fact is I have met with a good bunch of corporate guys in the CF store, or by phone/email, and they have all either had a UND tie on, or were a UND grad.

UNI keeps the UNI HOF at UNI, not in the local businesses.

However, the new store in CF, which will be three times the size of the current store, may have some extra UNI flavor....being that the company partner that runs our builder played basketball for UNI and is an avid UNI fan.

Ummm, yeah, it's not the official NDSU HOF but whatever, nice try. The point was that Scheels, dispite your little advertisement, supports NDSU just fine. You can try to downplay it becasue they are in the same city but there's nothing that says they have to support NDSU in the fashion they do; there are other colleges in town they could have donated to but the fact is the money went to NDSU. As for the UND grads, good for them, glad they were able to get out of Grand Forks and I'm sure they are too. Researchers at NDSU could find a cure for cancer and you'd find a way to bash it, maybe one of them got their undergrad at UND. It gets old, I get your back and forth with JBB and Lakes, but if that's your deal, good for you.
