Blind faith in hatred of humanity.

Jon. Spend less time on DU and more time studying. Constant CO2 increases are A RESULT of cyclical global warming. Paleontologists have proven that in several studies, yet the haters cover their ears and humm to block reality.
Moreso, government studies by the UK and U.S. have also shown that chemically, the concentrations of other greenhouse gasses, prinicipally water vapor and methane have greater impact to climate than CO2.

Ask yourself this: Why is there such a panic to enact "Global Warming" regulations IMMEDIATELY?

Answer: The longer time passes WITHOUT the enactment of CO2 and carbon reducing legislation, the sooner this scam will become uncovered. Once the regulations are in place, REGARDLESS OF REAL SCIENCE and research which would have confirmed that CO2 elevations result FROM temperature increases, not the other way around, the Alarmist/Humanity Haters can exhale, sit back, and relax knowing there's no way to prove they were wrong...

And with new Global low temperatures being set daily around the world...along with a global economic crisis...I suspect we won't be seeing any significant GLOBAL regulations/changes in CO2 emissions for at least a few decades...and then, merely as a result of improvements in industrial efficiency, hence, the Alarmist's day of reckoning is fast approaching.
This is gonna hurt, but I gotta agree with T-Man on this debate.......to a point. The world is getting warmer, but it's cyclical IMO. Yes, humans impact global temperatures, but aren't we, as humans, part of the natural world? We impact global temperatures just like any other animal on this earth. But I fear our impact on this earth will be more drastic due to overpopulation & over-allocation of natural resourcs than "warming" due to CO2 emmissions. The irony is that our advances in medical technology prolonging life will possibly hasten the demise of life as we currently know it on this planet. But that opinion and $.50 might get you a cup of coffee.........

The only way to be safe is to send all your money to Algore who is on the side of caution.

Building Nuclear power plants that don't emit carbon is unrealistic, we will just have to burn more coal to produce electricity for all the electric cars.

In reasonable numbers only.

Overpopulation and over-allocation of natural resources (industry) ARE the primary cause of CO2 emmissions.

Warming is cyclical, over thousands or millions of years, not 40.

Regardless, we're witnessing disturbing trends in global climate change, whether they be natural or anthropogenic or both. Don't you think it's reasonable to error or act on the side of caution and address this?

Besides the possible causes you mentioned here are a few more:
Cattle and consumption of meat
Massive deforestation, especially in the Amazon Rain Forest basin
China, India, Brazil, Argentina, and Russia rapidly becoming power consumers like our fat asses
Massive overpopulation in the Middle East

All we have to do is figure out a way to capture all those cattle farts and we can power a city...and have our beef...

Why didn't they release grizzly bears in the bread basket of America and wolves in central park? If they did that I would have no problems with the wolves here, as long as I could hunt them.

I'm all for acting but, IMO, birth control, sterilization, and a good old-fashioned plague would do more to curb this problem than paying a government entity for carbon credits. The earth is going to take care of itself. IMO, the impacts of industrialization to global warning, if any, in our country is miniscule compared to the damage being done by overpopulation in India and China. Yes, we are the consumers, but China is slowly creeping up on our numbers. And would we consume as much if the price was higher? And you're never gonna get higher prices until the most abundant and cheapest commodity in these countries, labor workforce, is controlled.....more abortions are obviously the solution to this world's ills.

China just passed us as the world biggest polluter, last year. We are solid at #2. We use 25% of the world's energy.
