Cal Poly @ Montana. Revenge game, we get to find out if Montana's defense is for real....and each week might be Montana's season on the line. Especially if they lose this one.

Re: I-AA Game of the Week - Week 2
Sacramento State at Southern Utah was my pick. I want to see if Sac St. can play at that level again and I think SUU can play better and are pretty dangerous. This one could be a shoot out.

UNI at SFA. We'll see if the Tex-Jacks do as well against a legitimate FCS contender as they did against a Hostess Cupcake last week.

RANKED in what? Some worthless opinion based off of 1 weekend of games? Polls mean nothing right now.Skjellyfetti wrote:At least my choice is between two RANKED opponents.AZGrizFan wrote:

Re: I-AA Game of the Week - Week 2
Phil Steele on page 23 of his preview says about Lehigh “3 sets of my power ratings call for them to have an undefeated regular season”. While I think Lehigh loses 1-2 games (including this one), this is the game of the week for the CAA. If Lehigh pulls this upset, you can pretty much write off UNH making the playoffs for an 8th straight season, as they would be 0-2 before CAA play evens begins. Why I voted the UNH @ Lehigh game. Plus I live about an hr+ from Lehigh. Plus CAA & ECB

This is Lehigh's best team since 2005. They once again have the horses to run with the better teams in country.BDKJMU wrote:Phil Steele on page 23 of his preview says about Lehigh “3 sets of my power ratings call for them to have an undefeated regular season”. I don't think a UNH loss means their playoff hopes are doomed. A loss to and FBS team and then likely Top 10 team doesn't kill their chances given the expanded field.

Re: I-AA Game of the Week - Week 2
I made the homer vote.
I think that both Furman and El Cid are question marks in the SoCon, and this game will have definite implications for the middle of the pack in the conference. If Furman wins, then things are holding pretty much the same in the SoCon for this year. If El Cid wins, then the preseason picks might need some serious rethinking.
If we hold Furman to 14 or less points, then look out, because our defense is going to keep us in some games we should be picked to lose. We'll see.
