Breaking: Tex A&M leaving Big 12

If they still hold the title of "Big 12" why not just start inviting in "premier" non-aq schools?
So you end up with:

Kansas
K-State
Mizzou?
Iowa St
Baylor
BYU
Boise
Houston
SMU?
Air Force?
Colorado St?
Nevada?
Fresno St?

If they retain the Big 12 Conference name - won't they still be a part of the BCS? (at least until the SuperConferences change the rules)
