I love how Excuse Maker couldn't even muster enough courage to post a score prediction. Fear of committing to something concrete that could (and would) be very wrong.

I also can't wait to see his list of excuses as to why USD got throttled, and EWU's run game wasn't so lacking anymore.

The thing that puts the upset as some call it in the air is the jubulation the EWU fans and media greated the loss at UW. To read about it you would think with all the boasting and congratulations - did EWU get a trophy - the Eagles won.

They didnt, they lost. It was close as a matter of coincidence. Thats the way the game unfolded. To be a winner you win like The NDSU BISON did last year at Kansaas. The moral victory is a losing proposition. Thats why the upset as some are calling it is in the air.

Things to consider in USDs 37-20 loss at Air Force last week:

1) USD won the second half against Air Force 13-7
2) USD was intercepted on the goal line after a 14 play 73 yd drive. It would have been a game breaker for USD.
3) USD played a physical game forcing fumbles and getting picks.

No. You cannot. You must be part of the Dakota BIG 3. You CAN, however, submit an application to the NDSU Conglomerate Committee, JBB, and I live by a Lake. If you end up getting approved by them it goes to a vote by the Dakota BIG 3, and if you also get approved by them you will be allowed a chance to win the Dakota Border Marker Trophy, provided you pass the standard 4 year grace period where you must, MUST, lose to all Dakota BIG 3 schools.

I can understand, after watching what the USD game is doing for EWU, that your school is excited about competing against all members of the Dakota Big 3, as Im sure are all MVFC schools. It was a big break for the conference to land the Dakota Big 3. The Summit claims the same honor.

With all the excitement surrounding this legendary group of Dakota rivals your just going to have to accept the fact that no other schools have the qualifications, traditions and history to join. But your school will still get to visit the legendary stadiums you will find at each of the campus and can still enjoy all the excitement and attention associated with competition against any member of the Dakota Big 3: NDSU, SDSU and Jr. member in transition, USD. Its a big thrill for EWU too.

Just like the Jr. Bowl, USD/UND, was a perfect lead-in for the main event, The Border Marker with NDSU and SDSU, This game is a perfect lead in for NDSUs game. It's the new Jr. Bowl!!

The Big Game is at 6 PM when the BISON take the field against The Red Flash.
