HOpe EWU starting right offensive tackle returns against Montana, because that back up was TERRIBLE! He looked like a sophomore in high school the way he was playing, very uncoordinated and "catching" the defender instead of delivering a blow

Unfortunately, I think you're right. But, on a bright note for EWU - prior to what people thought previously, we are now going in as the underdog, as per usual. It's basically a must-win for us, as I gotta think going 0-3 would pretty much end the season before it began.

Post won't be back for 2-3 weeks from what I have heard. He won't play against Montana, so they need to figure something out with their O-line rotation. I agree, he got owned all night long.

When South Dakota played MSU they were a solid team but weren't able to catch any big breaks but gave us a ton of fight and you could tell they play solid football. Definitely not a team to go to sleep on and it sounds that is what EWU did.

It may not be close this time. Montana's secondary is probably a stretch better than USD's, and they were able to contain the passing game (to an extent) with EWU's complete lack of a running game. Missing two starters off of the O-line is proving more problematic than I originally thought it would after the UW game. And shit, we were on to our 5th different running back at the end of the game just trying to generate SOMETHING. But like I said, I hope this serves as some sort of huge wake-up call to the team like the MSU game did last season. If not, gunna be a looooooooong year for us.

Big win for USD. Big win for the Dakota Big 3. Big game. Dakota Big 3, Upset according to many, exciting game on the prairie. It doesnt get any better then this.

This is another lesson in big time prairie football. The spirit of bill fette appeared to be in the Dakota Dome but in the end it just wasnt enough. Those days are over. The run of the good call is over for the Eagles. It peaked with the NDSU game. It ends with the USD game. I was listening to the USD home boys, they were disrespectful of some of the calls.

This is a big win for the Dakota Big 3! Congratulations to the USD Coyotes!!!

This game has probably increased the probability of the playoffs moving to Fargo and the Fabulous and insanely popular football facilities there. I mean not only the field and the standa but the entire city. The hotels, restaurants, bars, the malls the entire thing. Its a good thing The BISON won.

If it comes down to a bid NDSU will certainly out-bid the smaller and more modest facilities found at EWU.

After todays defeat, and we are still awaiting the official stats here at our offices, the at-large appears to be the big thing the Eagles should be shooting for. The likely-hood of a downward spiral from here is high for them.
