And if he doesn't show up, I will recruit another Obama voter to pick up my tab that night. I am going to get on board with this redistribution of wealth and push it to the maximum.

D1B, I drink nothing but Sam Adams baby!!! I thank you in advance for helping me out as I look to push our new President's agenda. Man, I am gonna LOVE the next 4 years. Look out free ride, here I come.

I will be rich by the end of the year and I won't have to work or nothing. Obama is going to give everyone lots of free money so everybody will be rich and there will be no poor people. If you don't want to work that is ok, Obama is all about change.

Funny thing is, he speaks about change yet at the local Obama office they will not give me any change. Not even enough to plug the meter so I can grab a quick beer down the block.

We'll have to wait and see if he starts a war somewhere before we can give him that little credit. ;)

Well, you can. I don't have too. It's not just about the war, which is one aspect of GWB's failure. I mean, it was Bush who gave us the first saving "stimulus package"...now we get another spending bill as the "saving stimulus." It was Bush who grew government and seized more power, now Obama is following in his footsteps. It was Bush who couldn't pick competent nominees--in steps Obama.

There's a lot of similarities, which is why McBama was really McBushama. You can believe the little letter beside his name being different equals change. I'm not buying what they're selling...welcome to the status quo--hope you weren't really expecting "change."

I think starting an unnecessary war IS in fact a big deal, and has an awful lot to do with our financial debacle which has led to all this recent spending.

Obama makes it to the next election without starting another war, he is miles ahead of Bush-tard. :thumb:

Sorry, can't make it. Brian Jonestown Massacre concert on the 27th in Milwaukee. I would though buy your beers Catman! Hope to see you in Iowa City this fall.

Citdog, you have no idea what you're getting yourself into. I still have chunks of Grizo's skull imbedded in my fists from a couple years back.

Cease your smack or you will be in severe pain for a long time. Peace brother!

Where did I say it WASN'T a big deal...I said it was ONE aspect of his FAILURE. Nice try though.

I know you like the big government plans, so Bush and Obama were awesome on those for you. But, I disagree and see major similarities.

I'm not ripping him, I'm not saying anything differently than I did before the election...he's just proving me correct. He has put forth this stimulus which is exactly in the mold of Bush. He has appointed incompetent people for positions, just like Bush. Do you deny that? Did you watch Timmy's speech Tuesday? I know you have the rose colored glasses on, but take a step back and focus clearly. So far, it has been similar.

Just as you argued McCain and Bush were the same, I argue Obama and Bush are the same. Their differences, primarily, are on social issues. Which have been decided by the courts and unlikely to change anytime soon anyways.

Just my two pennies' worth.
