That sounds flip. I can say this: if it comes to that NDSU will want the game. We are close enough in capacity so you can forget that as an advantage. Schools like EWU cant. After that it just a question of whose going to dig. I have heard, and these sources might know, that the NDSU playoff bid money is over 1 mill + capacity. They dont want to put it all on one game of course, but they might.

I don't think you really understand how the bid process works, its not like you just throw a number out, its a form that you fill out and includes things like expected number of tickets sold, cost of tickets, operations expenses ect .....

While you can fudge the numbers some, you need to have a basis for the numbers that you do put in since they also ask what attendance you have during the regular season and what you charge for tickets then. It is designed so that you cant buy your way to a home game without real income to support your bid since that is the income that the NCAA actually recieves. Teams like um and App have enough attendance that they are almost assured of having the highest bids.

I cant find it any more but a few years back the bid package was available for download on the NCAA's site.

Of course if NDSU was ag good as you think they would get a seed and have homefield until going up against a higher seed, but I doubt that will happen

Hell, if we didn't even count anything outside of just season ticket sales then NDSU couldn't outbid us with every penny they made this year.
