The picks weren't too hard this week. The closest eye I'll have will be JMU-Liberty & Brown-Stony Brook. After a great week one by the Seawolves, they didn't come close to Buffalo.

JMU barely scraped by CCSU. I would guess Liberty is a better team than CCSU. We'll have to see what happens there.

My Charleston Southern Buccaneers are 5-1 all time against the Jacksonville University Dolphins (2-1 at home - Charleston; 3-0 on the road - Jacksonville). I expect this to continue. The Bucs are facing their first FCS opponent of the season. The Bucs beat Jacksonville and close a three-game stretch in Florida with a 1-2 record and head home.

I can't believe anyone picked Gardner Webb to defeat an ACC school, even if it was lowly Wake Forest. Predictably, the Walkin' Bulldogs were bitch-slapped 48-5. With the possible exception of Liberty at times, Big South schools just can't compete with the Big Boys. Coastal was destroyed by Georgia as well...a very average UGA team had put up 59 on their asses by the end of the 3rd quarter. Another average BCS team, California, put up 63 on PC in 3 quarters. Why PC travelled all the way across the country to get embarrassed is beyond me...they could've just went 60 miles down I-26 and let South Carolina do the honors. Charleston Southern's game with Florida State was a comedy last week, with the Noles posting 62. I understand losing to BCS teams, but I would think the Big South could do a little better than this...these games are nowhere near competitive.
