Fresno escapes by the skin of their teeth 27-22. Only watched Gamecast but I have to wonder why UND coach elected to punt on 4th down on the Fresno 38 with about 3 min left? They never got the ball back.

The first play from scrim was a TD for FS. That was the game after that UND played like they mattered. FS scored when they needed it but were just going through the motions. A lot like your filthy mouth!

Dont get me wrong, its Another well earned moral victory for UND so I certainly understand you giddynes.

Look at the game from the beginning. First play from scrimmage a TD. Big halftime lead. Homefans lose interest. FS cones out flat Unerdogs rally but come up short losing but looking better than expected

You Montana fans know that scenario. In fact it looked like it was headed that way las time NDSU played the Griz. That's the difference between the winners and the losers. It was close when NDSU played Kansas and Minnesota too. Difference? NDSU won.

Yeah. That's why it was 22-21 UND going into the 4th quarter. Because the game was "over" after the first TD.

Guess all teams should just quit if the other team scores first.

Reminds me of how that "good team", Missouri State was able to give that great Bizon team a 3-0 beatdown during the stretch run last year.

The Sioux did their fans proud. By being 28 point underdogs, going out to Southern Cal, and proving the media wrong. UND was just over 9 minutes from a win. UND was down 14-0 in the first and it could have finished 55-0 but UND is not going to lay down and die they took it to the Bulldogs and proved that this team is for real. There is excitement back in this club, and after we thump NAIA Black Hills State our first test is October 1st at Southern Utah. UND needs to prove we can be on winning side of the score. UND hasn't won there since they were DII in 2006. UND's season starts this weekend. 3 NAIA games, 4 GWFC games and a OOC game at Northern Colorado. If UND plays these teams with the intensity they did against FSU then a 9-2 record could become a reality. Welcome back to life Fighting Sioux!!!

Its lucky you guys have all those lower division games. If I remember correctly you were in the same position last year, losing big at Idaho, winning the big moral victory at Northern Illinois and then beating two lower division teams at home.

After the 2 wins it pretty much went south. Be interesting to see how it goes this year.
