Does Delaware even have an airport????
Isn't it only about a 6 hour drive? Very doable if you ask me. Drive up early Friday, stay in a hotel over night and then head back right away after the game on Saturday which should be over around 3 pm.
You are missing the point of the post. Look to the question, not the statement.

Well, is Delaware the only State in the Union without a commercial airport? Maybe Vermont or New Hampshire too? Don't know.

Maybe you could post several pages of inane statistics that will help get this thing back on track. If I had some real number crunching analysis from you, I wouldn't feel the need to linguistically suplex Razor every time he pokes his head out of the rabbit hole.

Anyways, back on topic. Who's the most unproven coach in CAA football this year? :coffee:

Yup. So was the #2 RB David Hayes two years ago. :thumb:

First and foremost, it's 4.5 hrs from Newark to Norfuck.

Secondly, there is an airport in New Castle, DE that the team often uses when flying to destinations. That said, most commercial air travel is done from Baltimore or PHL, which are a short drive for anyone in the State.

Sasek will be back & dressed and able to play on Saturday but Donnelly will get the starting nod per Keeler today.

Not surprised, georgia state did the same thing with their qb situation when we played them a couple weeks ago.

I like mystery guests. PM away! I hope this mystery guest likes scrapple.

Now, what could really suck. My job. Recall that I am a federal contracting officer. We're at the end of the fiscal year. I have to have all awards done (I have four left right now - these things can be hundreds of pages), per my new agency's rules by noon Monday. They will do a spot check on midday Friday. If I am not where they feel comfortable, I could be required to do OT Saturday.

Anyway, let me get back off this board. Working 'til about 8pm tonight.

No smack intended here, and I don't think we should fly. But I never thought about Delaware and airports before. Never had a reason to. I have done my flying from north of DE and south of DE so it was in the middle of my origination point or destination.

Yeah, my bad Flagship. I don't think I really intended to seem bristled, but going back and reading my post and considering my prior dialogue here, I could see how it appeared that way. :dope:

I wonder what happens if things don't go smoothly early on. Sasek is the better QB, Donnelly has the momentum. Do you put in a rusty Sasek if Donnelly isn't clicking or stick with the #2. Either way I'm fine with whoever is back there...both are talented.

I think you stick with the qb that's starts. As a coach you want to win of course but unless if it gets really really bad I don't think you want to send a message that says you are losing confidence in a kid.

Monarch fans heading up to the game in Newark are advised to be careful where you park.

I'd love to meet you guys, well most of you. That douchebag Bilas, especially.
Are you REALLY saying you are missing my tailgate and this game so you can watch a bunch of pansies running around a field chasing a ball in a sport with less scoring than even JMU DJ has accomplished? Since you are now so "european", do you carry around a man-purse, as well, you metrosexual bag o' douche?

I had a full menu of salmonella burgers and e-coli nachos just waiting for you, and I demand satisfaction. Was working on the "intestinal backlash" timeframe to ensure you soiled yourself at exactly the moment ODU went up by 3 scores (early second quarter, bu may calculation).

Enjoy your sissy sport, Sally.

It might qualify as smack coming from an ODU fan, but Delaware has higher standards for admissions into smackdom.
