Eachus is out for Colgate.
"Elaine, you're from Baltimore, right?"
"Yes, well, Towson actually."

Thanks for the info - didn't know that. I know Colgate got spanked by Holy Cross, but I can't say I follow the Patsy very closely, just keep half an eye on Lehigh as they're the prohibitive favorite to make the playoffs.andy7171 wrote:Eachus is out for Colgate.

Delaware is the favorite. That's all I'm gonna say.

Re: Colonial Athletic Association Picks for Week #4
CAA vs CAA
-JMU (2-1)@ W&M (2-1) (7 PM, CSN-MA, CSN-NE, CSN-P) JMU 17-10 in the CAA game of the week. Spread should be very close on this.
JMU so far:-------------------------W&M so far:
L @ UNC 42-10-------------------- L @ UVA 40-3
W CCSU 14-9----------------------W VMI 24-17
W Liberty 27-24------------------W New haven (Div 2) 13-10
2nd straight tough road game for JMU. W&M’s offense is struggling big time, and JMU’s has seemed to have found some life. Should be a low scoring game unless there is a non offensive TD..
-ODU (3-0) @ Delaware (2-1) by 1-2 TDs. (Noon, TCN, CSN-NE, COX11)
UD so far:----------------------------ODU so far:
L @ Navy 40-17----------------------W Cambell 41-14
W (Div II) West Chester 28-17-----W GST 40-17
W Del State 45-0--------------------W Hampton 45-42
UD still with backup QB. UD will stop ODU enough. ODU doesn’t have the defense to consistently stop UD.
-UNH (1-1) @ Richmond (3-0) by a TD or less. (3:30 PM, TCN, CSN-NE)
Last yr UNH 17, UR 0 (@ UNH) (Corp went down for the season in the 1st qtr).
UR so far:---------------UNH so far:
W @ Duke 24-23--------L Toledo 58-22
W Wagner 21-6---------W Lehigh 48-41 (OT)
W VMI 34-19
McDonnell has had 2 weeks to prepare UNH, and have to give the big edge in coaching to the best coach in the CAA vs the interim UR HC, but that will only be enough to keep the game close in this long road trip for a UNH team that is really struggling on defense. Corp & the UR offense should have a big day.
CAA vs OOC
-Villanova(0-3) @ Penn (0-1) by a TD or less (7 PM).
Last yr Nova 22, Penn 10 (@ Penn)
Villanova so far:-------Penn so far:
L @ Temple 42-7------L Lafayette 37-12
L @ Towson 31-10
L Monmouth 20-9
Think Nova will finally get a close W against Penn, who got handled by a bad Lafayette team (who in turn was thumped by NDSU and lost to perennial Patriot cellar dweller G’Town). This will be Nova’s best chance to get a win among their last 8 games.
-Fordham (1-1) @ URI (0-2) by 2-3 TDs (1 PM).
Last yr Fordham 27, URI 25 (@ Fordham)
URI so far:-----------------Fordham so far
L @ Syracuse 21-14--------L @ UConn 35-2
L @ UMass 36-27----------W Columbia 21-14
-Colgate (1-2) @ Towson (2-0) by 2-3 TDs (7:00 PM)
Towson so far:------------------Colgate so far:
W Morgan State 42-3---------W Albany 37-34 (OT)
W Villanova 31-10--------------L @ Holy Cross 37-7
-----------------------------------L @ Dartmouth 37-20
Towson goes to 3-0!
CAA vs BCS
UMass (2-0) @ Boston College (0-3) by 1-2 TDs (1 PM, ESPN3).
UMass so far:-------------BC so far:
W Holy Cross 24-16-------L Northwestern 24-17
W URI 36-27--------------L @ UCF 30-3
-----------------------------L Duke 20-19
UMass should keep it close against a bad for BCS BC.
Bye: Maine

Re: Colonial Athletic Association Picks for Week #4
No one was perfect this week. Most people picked Penn and UR. A few picked UMass and W&M. One clown picked Colgate.
The winners are....myself and Bluehenbilk, both got 6 of 7. I msised on UNH over UR. He missed on Nova over Penn.
3 of 4 weeks now I've tied for top picker. Have gotten 30 out of 34 right. The key don't get cute and try to pick 2-3 upsets. 90+% of the time go with the favorite, as I've done in all but 2 games in the 1st 4 weeks. Only 2 sleight upsets I picked were JMU over LU and JMU over W&M. According to the lines have only been 6 upsets in 4 weeks:
-UR over Duke
-Towson over Nova (at the time Nova was favored)
-Monmouth over Nova
-JMU over Liberty (LU was sleight favorite)
-JMU over W&M (W&M was sleight favorite)
-UNH over UR (UR was sleight favorite)

Week 4 only 5-3. Missed on UNH-UR, Nova-Penn, and ODU-UD.
So far 13-4. Didn't play week one.
