I meant bad as in not up to where the 2008-09 teams were. Weber is down from there. There are just a LOT of down teams this year.
I still contend it's mostly the traditional powers in the CAA that are down.

Bite your tongue. The CAA is never down, it is just that the teams get better from the bottom up. ZERO drop off from previous years. ZERO

That's certainly your perrogative. Maine seems to be the real deal, but past that, who in the CAA is up that is new? Do you really think Towson or ODU are top 10 teams? :?

This is a fairly comical post. It's clear you are trying to be sarcastic, yet all the CAA fans are telling everyone that the CAA is down right now. I haven't seen a single CAA fan jocking the conference this year.

And even in a down year for the CAA, it still occupies nearly a third of the top 25. That's gotta drive the CAA haters batshit crazy.

Who exactly do we have to beat to be considered top10? :? If we beat ODU, will you be "Meh, it's a start up" Then W&M, "Well the Tribe is struggling" Heaven forbid we beat the Blue Hens. "We're just really not that good."

AFAIK, you haven't beaten ODU or UD yet. You've beaten 1-5 Villanova who lost to Monmouth. You've beaten Richmond to knock them to 0-3 in the CAA, you've beaten 3-3 Colgate, you've beaten 3-3 Morgan... You haven't started your tough stretch yet. This reminds me of NAU, who I've brought up before. They have a knack of having an easy early season schedule and then losing a bunch in the second half. If Towson goes even 3-3 in the final six, I would be impressed. 2-4 is more likely, 1-5 isn't out of the question.

When I turn my head to the right, this poll gives me the middle finger.

Screw you too, ODU and Towson.

Legit analysis, our conference schedule was very top heavy.

1. Where did I say UD belonged in the Top 10?
2. If I wanted to make that case, at least UD has beaten two ranked teams.

All that may be true, but before this season started, we were questioning whether the over/under for Towson was TWO.

I voted for the most interesting game from my perspective - Southern Utah/Cal Poly. Whoever wins doesn't guarantee anything but the loser will be appearing in the Exlax Toilet Bowl (along with UC Davis, I'm afraid).
