I think Sam Houston State, Lehigh and Liberty are the top three. Jacksonville State and Coty Blanchard are nothing to take lightly either.

You know all those teams are hungry for the first real signature win, too. (Sorry SHSU, I'm not counting 0-7 New Mexico.)

Sam Houston took care of SFA a lot easier than UNI did, so I would say Sam Houston.

App State fears playing any away game that is located west of the Mississippi....don't care who they are. They don't travel well west of the Mississippi.

Too bad I can't say South Carolina St but they are on the bottom of the MEAC looking up at Norfolk St and North Carolina A&T

when it comes to the FCS can some clarify between "major" and "no-major"...I assume the "major" conferences are the SOCON, CAA, Big Sky, Big South.

I assume the Great West isn't a "major conference"...so my choice is Cal Poly, I don't like seeing ODU play against option offenses....

Also for a non-schollie team from the pioneer conference I'd have to say Jacksonville. They are a pretty competitve team....

The big south is not, has never been and never will be considered a "major" conference.

Major conferences have teams that consistently make the quarterfinals or better.
