So J, think your boys hold on here? So far we can make my 28-27 PSU score prediction with another PSU TD and a late flurry of UM scoring.

Unless we can somehow transform into a team with some kind of offense, I think you do. I've been critical of our offense and I think we need to continue to be. We should be able to do better than we are. I don't have an aswer for what to fix it, but it is sure ugly lately and not improving.

Montana goes for it on 4th and turns it over on downs.

Montana is going to need some semblance of a vertical passing game to get back in this game. QB change? Johnson really struggles to throw the ball it seems.

Good news for Montana is that PSU's offense seems pretty stagnant as well.

Damn I was away from the comp for that one. Sombrano goes out with a leg injury following a pass to the PSU 2.

Yeah but egriz will spin it into being PSU's 7th personal foul and 4 of which would have cause season ending injuries to 7 starting linemen.

We have the capability, the coach just decides to run passing plays that take way too long to develop and allow the D to just TEE OFF on our QB. Not to mention I think I have only seen a handful of slants and virtually nothing to the TE's in the middle.

UM bailed out on a 3rd and goal by a PI call.

PSU's goal-line D:

Spoke too soon. TD UM on a reverse.

I really thought Hardy and Middleton would be a bigger part of UM's offense this year. Not so much it seems.

UM burned a TO on a fake 2 point conversion. I think they are going for 2 here.

And its stuffed. 21-16 PSU.

On another note, MSU is steam-rolling NAU. I really don't see them losing a conference game this season. :coffee:

No shit. Middleton was one of the top TE prospects when he went to the UW. You can't tell me he just all of a sudden started sucking.

I almost think Pflugrad is trying to impress Oregon with his version of the spread because they canned him. Only problem is, he apparently only knew the side to side plays.

McCaffrey breaks one, one WR block makes it a TD.

I think the 4 and 5 wide passing game Montana used to use or even Bobby ball is better suited to the FCS than this spread-option stuff.
