So...you don't think that they should be removed from the rest of the games? ??? ?? ?? ???? Really? What ever happened to personal responsibility?

This was my post on Facebook at 3am this morning as this party woke me from my slumber:

Thanks, griz football, for throwing a "we nearly got our asses whipped by a 2-5 team" party outside.. The cops were a nice touch.

Do you think they should be sitting for a while?

Doesn't work very well unless your name is Big Show....

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

O'day came out with a statement that basically said " we will let the court system run its course, and will take no further action until that time." That means they will do nothing till after the season is over.

If O'Day takes no action until the end of season he needs to be shown the door....and I will be more than happy to hold it for him.

He also said, "Any disciplining will be handled internally through our student-athlete code of conduct." That does include possible suspensions.

http://www.kpax.com/news/possible-punis ... l-players/

From reading this (the "no comment" thing), the big question seems to be whether any suspensions—if there are any, which I'd be surprised if there weren't if the reports about this incident are even vaguely accurate—will be made public prior to games being played. The TJ and Swink suspensions from 2009 were not made public until weeks afterward (the infamous Kaimin story).

How about you griz fans calling O'day up and letting him know that you are sick of it. The program and state are getting a bad name.

As much fun it is to joke around with my Duck friends about their transgressions (and now I get to needle some of my Griz buddies), I seriously don't see how one could think they were "representing UM in competition" at an off campus party at 2:30 in the morning. They were off the plane and back home. Also, from what I understood, they are both 21, therefore they were not underage. I dunno. Maybe listening to the Ducks problems have soften my views on these things. Its not like they were going 118 mph down Reserve Street.

Neither do I, but perhaps the team has an additional rule of "don't drink during the season" or something like that.

That being said, drinking isn't the main issue here…

I think the school/coaching staff is doing the right thing by not committing to anything right away. They need to figure out as much as they can about what happened first.

The team picks up an important road win and has itself in line to put the critical 7th D-I win in the bank next week before the trip to Bozeman, and then these two just have to go to this ****ing party. FFS Tru, do you think maybe an NFL corner back regularly goes to parties that make any party that ever happened in Missoula since the dawn of time pale by comparison? Was it asking too much to hope you could keep your **** together for another 7 months?

****king kids this age think 5 hours from now is forever. No judgment, no perspective.
Antonio Cromartie could have gave him a lot of pointers.

I waited until this morning, to make sure my thoughts were in order and emotion would not be part, to send out a couple of emails. Not sure if they actually read them, but we will see if I get a response.

Hasn't Trumaine Johnson been in trouble before?

I don't know much about Kemp.

Saw this on my phone on ESPN.com this morning - had to read the headline 3-4 times :ohno:

I believe this will be number 3 for TJ.
