Re: UNI @ NDSU
TBH and I will be pulling into town about 11...ish Saturday morning. What is the best place to park....that doesn't cost much.
Re: UNI @ NDSU
There's good parking all around the dome and none of it is expensive. You'll have to check out the west lot, that's where all the hardcore tailgating takes place. Parking on the grass in the west lot is $3 and there are good spots up till about 3 hours before the game.clenz wrote:TBH and I will be pulling into town about 11...ish Saturday morning. You can also park for free in the lot south of the old Dakotah Field (R lot on linked map). It is technically parking permit only, but they don't ticket on the weekends. It's a bit of a hike, but the weather looks good for Saturday.

R lot is a good choice, especially on a nice day. It's free and a short walk to the tailgating lots.No_Skill wrote:There's good parking all around the dome and none of it is expensive. Thanks for the map. We'll probably park and walk to save some money. I do 5-8 miles of walking a day at work so a bit of a walk (especially after a drive from CF) isn't going to hurt my fat ass.No_Skill wrote:There's good parking all around the dome and none of it is expensive. What CS'ers want to meet up so I can prove I'm not really a douche? My wife's first question was "How many of your message board people do we have to meet?"

The grass lots are the only place where you can tailgate, it is only $3 and if you get there by 11 AM there should be some spots left.
Re: UNI @ NDSU
I might find some time to show some good will before the game. You can PM me your seats if you don't want to publish them.clenz wrote:Thanks for the map. Re: UNI @ NDSU
I'm not sure what my seats are yet. I got them through the UNI alotment, so I know the section - but that is it right now apparently.
My wife and I both work until 5-5:30 on Friday so we won't get out of CF until 6ish...we are staying in St. Cloud Friday night and Fargo Saturday night. I'm trying to find some good things to do.

Re: UNI @ NDSU
3 bucks and you can park right with the tailgaters and mingle around, St Cloud to Fargo you should easily be able to make it to the tailgate before 11

The game is sold out, all standing room tickets have been sold. Over half of the student tickets had been picked up 1 PM.

Halloween weekend at NDSU usually featured the Twin Cities kids going home (at least when I was there) and they account for a VERY large chunk of the student body.
Hunting weekend... big weekend for it - classes on Friday during hunting season are always sparsely attended...
that said... this is a big f'ing deal game... and there shouldn't be any tickets left...

Check with fans from the local High Schools that are still in the playoffs, otherwise those few seats will be empty.
