I just figured, since you are the resident GRIZ guy, you would know. You know more than most, well...ReMax maybe, but you follow more than I do. Just sayin'. I still stick by my thoughts on the issue...both should be suspended through the end of the season at the very least.

Re: 2 UM football players tased and arrested
Here's what I think UM should do in response to this:
1. Suspend Tru & Kemp for the Weber game & maybe the WOU game because of the PR embarrassment, partying after 2:00 AM (if that is, in fact, a team/athletic department rule violation), and anything else that is a violation & is known to have occurred/has been admitted to.
2. The two players are pleading not guilty & fighting the charges; trial scheduled for February. I think it would be unfair to suspend them for these specific issues now unless the school's own investigation finds that they are definitely guilty. If they are found not guilty, they can't exactly get those games back.
3. If Kemp is found guilty in the winter/spring, throw the book at him & give him a multi-game suspension for 2012. The length being based on how many charges he's convicted of.
4. Trumaine is a senior, so it's hard to do much after the fact if he's found guilty. He is an NFL prospect, though, so the school I believe could forbid him from taking part in UM's Pro Day talent evaluation.

Suspend them both TOMORROW for the remainder of the season. IF, and IF, they decide to go to trial now/plead out now or whatnot they might get to play in the playoffs IF the Griz make it. MAYBE. And that would be being generous.

2 UM football players tased and arrested
The sad part is that the griz fans and community will not force the admin to do anything, because they just want to win. The bobcat fans demanded major action and Kramer was let go when we had problems several years ago. Then the griz had there big issues shortly after and there was scarcely a peep from the community. Hauck was not fired, or even given a hand slap. Hence where we are today with more arrests at UM and what appears to be no major changes. Just win baby!

HEY MOTHERFUCKER. Don't you go lumping all GRIZ fans into the same bunch you see on EGRIZ. I have voiced my opinion on this, and previous matters, to the ADMIN's.Northcoast wrote:The sad part is that the griz fans and community will not force the admin to do anything, because they just want to win. People don't think this type of shit is OK. If you think so, you need to go have your head examined.

Never played, no...but he was a member of the Cats team until he admittedly committed two felonies. Why are Cats fans discussing how Griz players should be disciplined
No he was NOT a student at MSU. He was never a "member' of the Bobcat football team nor was he ever a student at MSU.

Kramer was primarily canned because MSU's APR tanked under his leadership. They couldn't afford any more scholarship losses. The Gatewood arrest was more of a convenient excuse for his firing.Northcoast wrote:The sad part is that the griz fans and community will not force the admin to do anything, because they just want to win. He shouldn't have been fired at that time, IMO. Firing a head coach after spring ball is stupid unless he, himself, does something egregious. The MSU administration should have at least waited until the end of the '07 season.

Re: 2 UM football players tased and arrested
I still think everyone is overreacting a bit here. The key for me is that both pled not guilty and a trial is scheduled after the season. As many of my Duck friends would say, they have not been convicted of anything. The university walks a fine line here as we are still innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. That does include college kids. Do you think Johnson, if his case is dismissed for whatever reason in February, would consider suing the school based on the grounds that it hurt his draft stock by being forced to sit out the rest of the season? If the school wants to suspend them for being out after 2am, that is fine, but knowing college kids as I do , I'd be willing to bet that Johnson and Kemp have not been the only football players this season to still be out after 2am.
The safe bet is to keep both on the team for now and decide on some sort of punishment after the trial, if they are found guilty.

The cops instantly noticed they were black and were destined to hurt them.
The cop said instantly raged noticing how white people were around hanging out with these folk. He had a disgusted look on his face, like he needed to diarhea all over himself. He quickly grabbed a whip and started whipping TJ, Kemp got in and distracted them for awhile. Things were getting out of hand so Tru quickly grabbed the officers nipple and twisted it as hard as he could. The officer was frightened, never witnessing any horrific acts such like this. So scared they had no other thing to do than tase them.

Yes, there are...I wasn't there so obviously I don't know a whole lot...what I do know is that the defense has a few witnesses that were at this party and claim it didn't go down quite like the officers reported.

All they did was release him from his scholarship and LOI. Never started class or practice. You dumbass griz fans would be making the same argument if it were your recruit. I heard from about 4-5 Eye witnesses that it did happen the way the cops said, and actually was worse and the cops are holding back some details from the news report. Your eye witnesses must be Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder.mlbowl wrote:Now we're "dumbasses"CatBlitz22 wrote: All they did was release him from his scholarship and LOI. I don't have to justify anything. As for our players, they will have their day in court...along with SEVERAL eye witnesses that say this incident didn't happen the way the police reported. So, kindly go fvck yourself.
