The road to the Big South Autobid

I said this on FlameFans but this pretty much is a two horse race between Liberty and Stony Brook. LU gets its next two against PC and VMI and should win those leading up to the big showdown in NY.

We have Coastal at home next Saturday and road games at CSU and GWU . This is getting interesting -lol.

I apologize that yesterday VMI thought the game was only for 30 minutes, but SBU played with excitement, sense of purpose, and looked to have fun doing it. VMI must learn to play loose w/some reckless abandon, and try to have fun. 7 or 8 dropped passes by WR and HB's due to being tight and stiff, for no reason.

Absolutely, I'm rooting for Coastal this week, but good luck with that. I'm also hoping Mike Brown's knee is ok. I know it's Presby and VMI at home, but it would be tough without him.

This is going to be a tough game. I cant see Coastal losing 3 in a row even if they are on the road. We have always played eachother tough so I expect Saturday will be no different. SBU by a touchdown.

I read the whole thread. the most interesting part is how TTL was talking so much trash and after the Liberty-CCU game result he hasn't been around. Its lovely to see how people disappear.

For this upcoming SBU vs CCU game I pick Stony Brook to win it. Not by a lot, I'll say by a fieldgoal or TD, But I Still think SB can beat Coastal.

LU and SBU will have to battle the Big South Championship game. Last time LU came out to Long Island they lost a heartbreaker 36-33. I Hope that November 19th is one day to remember for us Seawolves fans.

TTL was not alone my friend. After JMU and Lehigh a lot of LU Fans were off the reservation. I'm not sure where he is, but I am sure he is still an LU fan. I knew all along that Rocco and the guys would put it back together. There were plenty of us who never left and know this team can win out and make a real run in the playoffs.

By the way, please forgive me for cheering for CCU, haha.

I'm torn on the SBU/CCU game. I wouldn't mind SBU winning out, being 7-3 and possibly ranked heading into the Big South Championship Game. I also wouldn't mind them losing 2 out of the next 3 games and that game being pointless.

I expect the Coastal game to be a tough one. I think we will win by a TD by the simple reasoning we have both a potent running game and have found a good passing game with Kyle Essington at QB. Should be a good one.

I'm still around. The Big South is boring until the showdown on Long Island. Nothing will happen between now and then to change the facts, LU/SBU is the Big South Championship for a trip to the playoffs.

And I was positive about our victory and was very happy and surprised with how we played against CCU, and since. Not much else to say, except that the Big South is, was, and seems will be, a 3 horse race.

Stony Brook beats Coastal Carlina today 42-0 in 30 degree freezing rain weather. Awesome nonetheless. CCU out of the race now.

Mark your calendars for the hottest game of the season: Liberty at Stony Brook 11/19. They have to televise this somehow!!!

I actually want Liberty to win its next game. I want the championship to be decided in Long Island! This is the hottest series in the Big South. Each team has won it at home so its up to Stony Brook to continue the trend!
