So next year F1 is returning to the United States with a race in Texas... (insert yawns)
Of course most people already knew about that... but now we learn that in 2013 Texas will be joined on the F1 schedule by the Grand Prix Of America, a race that will be held in the New Jersey towns of West New York and Weehawken with the New York City skyline as a backdrop.
One F1 race has caused yawns in the past, what will two do?
The United States will join Spain as the only nations holding multiple F1 races and Canada could soon see a second race if Vancouver gets added to the schedule, unless that move comes at the cost of the Montreal race.

The F1 race in NY will get 150,000 people.
Yeah, I'd say the entire world is in love with F1.

Well, with the dollar being so cheap compared to other world currencies and with the US still being a favorite destination point for tourists, F1 could be completely ignored by Americans and they could still pack these tracks just with ex pats and foreign tourists.

With 7 billion people in the world, 150,000 is a drop in the bucket.GannonFan wrote:Well, with the dollar being so cheap compared to other world currencies and with the US still being a favorite destination point for tourists, F1 could be completely ignored by Americans and they could still pack these tracks just with ex pats and foreign tourists.
