to my knowledge, UND was never part of the NAIA

However NDSU was NAIA

Jay und LOST TO NAIA sioux falls 2 years ago.

they also lost to mayville state and jamestown in basketball Both NAIA.

They also will have played 3 naia teams this year. wow great competition.

&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&

NDSU is #1 and will run the table now, it took 7 games for the votes to get a brain cell, NDSU beat MONTANA STATE LAST YEAR and Georgia Southern backed out of a game, so a knowledgable voter should of had NDSU #1 to start the year.

Dwelling in the past Lakes. UND beat NDSU in 2003 (the last game they played), UND beat NDSU in Fargo (the last game they played there 2002). UND leads the series against NDSU. UND won the DII National Title in 2001 and was runners up in 2003. NDSU hasn't seen a semifinal or national title game in over 20 years. First Sioux-Bison game in the Fargodome (1994) 34-13 win for UND with their backup QB (freshman) playing the second half when their starter goes out with a shoulder injury. BTW South Dakota State lost to a DIII team during their transition 17-3 (Wisconsin-Lacrosse) UND beat UW-L the very next year, and yet you only make fun of UND's loss to NAIA champion Sioux Falls (who is now DII). Fuel up the Delorian Lakes the past is calling you again!!

You might be a little slow but here it goes...I mocked you for bringing up the past. UND losing to Sioux Falls, UND almost losing to W. Oregon. Get it!!!! That was the past, and since you brought up the past...stay with me now. I brought up the past. Did you catch what I am saying or do I have to draw you a picture.

Simple neither team was in the NAIA

The North Central Conference (NCC), also known as North Central Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, was a college athletic conference which operated in the north central United States. It participated in the NCAA's Division II.

The NCC was formed in 1922. Charter members of the NCC were South Dakota State College (now South Dakota State University), College of St. Thomas, Des Moines, Creighton University, North Dakota Agricultural College (now North Dakota State University), University of North Dakota, Morningside College, University of South Dakota, and Nebraska Wesleyan University.

There are two things you need to know about that:

1) It was probably the most embarrassing night for NDSU basketball in at least 10 years. maybe losing to UM-Crookston in 2003 was worse, I dunno. There is no excuse for that type of performance our team displayed last night, and I hope this motivates them to get a LOT better as the season progresses.

2) You Darell, as a UND fan, have NO RIGHT to fling smack towards another DI school who list to a D2 team in an EXHIBITION. I could easily go into the Sue archives right now and count all the delicious losses your boys have gotten against DAC (NAIA) teams, in both exhibition AND regular season. (and believe me, I would have a fun time doing it) Was it two years ago that Mayville State didn't merely beat you in the last minute, but physically MANDANDLED your team?? Wasn't UND BB about to become the new member of the DAC?? UND scheduled like half the conference OOC then proceeded to lose to most of them. Then we were like, "Well, they can't even beat all these DAC teams after they schedule them, why even put them in the DAC? LOL"

I'll give you that one comment before, but ZIP IT with the rest of the remarks about that. Makes you look like El Hypocrite Grande when you do that.

That was embarrassing... hopefully it lights a fire under their ass... and lucky it doesn't count... but I think it can safely end the darkhorse shot at a Summit Title thoughts... oy.
