Towson @ Maine by a TD or less.
William & Mary @ Rhode Island by a TD or less
Richmond @ Old Dominion by 1-2 TDs. If Corp couldn't light up the porous UMass secondary, guess he won't light up ODU's. ODU will probably have a post JMU win letdown and not beat UR as badly as they should, but will clinch a playoff spot with this win.
Villanova @ Massachusetts by 3-4 TDs.
I don't know, ODU's secondary is also pretty weak. Like any other game this season our defense starts and ends with the success of our defensive line. BDK, you sould know about ODU's secondary since for a half this past saturday the Dukes looked as if they were primarily a passing team all along.
Yeah, I know Jace had 2-3 bad misses in the 2nd half after it had started to drizzle a little and the wind picked up (esp the 4th qtr) but of the 266 yds of offense JMU had 1st half, 186 of that was Jace on 11 of 12 passing.

I don't know what happened with UMass @ UR. Not surprised UMass won, but I thought Corp would have a field day passing against that UMass secondary that is DEAD LAST in the CAA in pass defense. On TV I watched Holy Cross have a good passing day vs UMass, and URI and ODU light up the UMass secondary (I also watched UD not be able to). Not sure why UR couldn't. Corp was only 28 for 52, 299, threw 4 INTs. UR I think has had a bunch of injuries on their OL too. Corp was probably under major heat all game- was sacked 6 times. UR rushed for next ZERO yds vs UMass. (They had -12 vs JMU). They have NO rushing game. Its all about stopping Corp (& Gray).

Like I said, ODU I think will have a little bit of post JMU letdown, and not having a bye week is probably going to start to take a little bit of a toll. Thats why I said ODU wins by 1-2 TDs, and not 3-4. If it was @ UR I would probably say by a TD or less.

Never mind. I trolled over onto the UR board, and from the description of a lot of their posters, sounds like UR just quit against UMass. If thats the case vs ODU, ODU does win by 3-4 TDs, even with a bit of a letdown:

mainejeff - what gives?
URI hasn't given up those kind of points to anyone all year, and have you seen our offense? Graham is out for the season, and URI stats suggest they've got a presentable run defense. Just wondering.

It was 100% the UMass pass rush. When we didn't get to Corp, the pass coverage was inadequate as usual. It was the same way we beat Delaware. If ODU doesn't get to Corp, this may be a shootout. However, Corp may not be healthy. We smacked him around pretty good. There were lots more hits in addition to the sacks.

what does that say about Georgia State that 1) they have to schedule FBS opponents in their first two years, and 2) they have to schedule NAIA/D-2 teams in their second season????? :ohno:

ESPN has St. Francis (PA) playing both Monmouth and Georgia State this Saturday. I think that improves Georgia State's chances of picking up a win.

They lost to--now defunct--Lambuth last year.

James Madison @ New Hampshire May be very close. I expect JMU to come out like a demon after losing to ODU.
Towson @ Maine
William & Mary @ Rhode Island
Richmond @ Old Dominion (I can't see UR getting drummed again. ODU is the better team but UR pulls the upset (yes, an upset)
Villanova @ Massachusetts

I changed my mind. JMU 24-20. JMU RG Steve Krout who got concussion vs ODU was practicing as of yesterday (Wed). So was Dae'quan Scott.

Appreciate that! ha

I think Richmond gives us a good game as they have nothing left to play for but are absolutely in "spoiler role". Our secondary is banged up and quite frankly, our defense just isn't that good anyways.

I still think ODU will win, but it will be a bit of a shootout. Heinecke vs. Corp should be a damn good QB battle though. ODU cannot have a letdown this weekend with it's only remaining game being a rivalry game against a W&M team that beat us last year.

Two questions. Who was the perp. for the Spiders?
Is Pagel related to the ex Cleveland Browns Qb?

I don't know who did it. It was after Corp went out injured. We all thought Pagel was pulled because we were up by 3 TDs, not because he was hurt.

Pagel is the son of the ex Browns QB.
