What's the penalty for violating that? A fine? Ineligibility for the conference title? Forfeiture of conference playoff payouts?

Dayton played at Division II Central State this year.... Last year in a series of 4 or 5 games. The first 3 or 4 were played at Dayton, this last one was played at CSU. Thank goodness the contract is up. No CSU next year. We get to go to Illinois State for a road win!

I don't think so rob. Just a single game in Normal.

Yeah. They have to pay the NCAA.

UNI played at NDSU in 1982. NDSU was still Division II at that time. NDSU won 12 to 7.

in the past 3 seasons, pioneer teams have played on the road against lower division teams 13 times.

I'm almost certain we played Idaho at Albi Stadium in Spokane after they moved up.

I remember we played Idaho at Joe Albi in 1997, which was 2 or 3 years after their "move-up". Beat 'em, too.

Although, at the time, it may have been considered a "neutral site" because we had moved games back to campus by that point..........except for bigger games like Montana, etc.
