I only saw it for one game, but it wasn't very impressive. Will be fun watching them lose and their cute noob fans getting their hearts broken. We heard them lamenting how the Towson loss was the most heartbreaking thing that happened in Virginia since their state bent over in 1865. I wonder how bad they'll be crying when GSU or Appy makes them look silly. Then you'll get to hear all the rationalizations about how they're just a poor little startup, etc. It's like a broken record.

After going through the gauntlet that is the CAA we (ODU) aren't afraid to play anybody.

That being said HOWEVER, I'm really glad that we don't have to go to a place like Newark (nowhere) Delaware again this year. Geez.

No really, I FORGOT. UD isn't in the playoffs (sorry about that).The UD fans seem to think they stomped on us. We were ahead with not much time left in that game. I'm sorry, you guys must have FALLEN ASLEEP at some point because the ODU fans were 10X louder than you.

Can't wait for the meeting in NORFOLK, where there is lots of stuff to do. That way, when we'e beating you by three TDs in the 3rd, you can go and lay on your beach blankets.

Agreed. JMU was running right through it (266 yds 1st half) until lost 3 starting OL mid 2nd-late 3rd qtr.

ODU, Towson, UNH, great offenses, below avg to poor (UNH) defenses.

Maine is the only one of the CAA playoff teams (unless JMU makes it) with an above avg defense.

If there's anything I can't stand on message boards it's broad generalizations. Just because some young college kid who's probably nervous about being interviewed doesn't know where Northern Iowa is, that doesn't mean all Virginians are poor at geography. Now why don't you STFU and go surfing dude.

It was also a complete joke. It was a segment the local tv station ran making fun of how much of a bumblef*ck destination Iowa is.

If they'd just asked there where is Iowa and they said "the midwest" and pointed to it on a map, how good of a story/preview would it have been? I'm sure that played into some of the "stupidity" that was shown.
