Thought with the #1 in Sacks, #1 Rush Defense, #3 Pass Defense, #1 in Points Allowed & #1 in Total Defense in the CAA would have more than 5 defensive players 1st-3rd team. The one JMU defensive player who should have made it but didn't is rSr OLB Vidal Nelson, a 4 yr starter, the last 3 at SS.

Grant Enders (QB) should have been on one of these lists in my opinion. His performance this year has brought us where we are. Maybe he doesn't have the best stats, but you can't discount being able to lead a team to the CAA title.

Meh. The three named are more than deserving. All-conference teams are all about stats. I'm more peeved Tucker didn't get a DE spot.

Actually just had pointed out to me that Dae'quan Scott was 2nd team at PR.

How in the heck does Grimes get Special Teams Player of the Year but only 3rd Team at kick returner (his only special teams honor?) That makes NO sense.

My thoughts exactly. I suspect the Special Teams POY is a reward for a great season (#1 nationally in all-purpose yards) and career, while acknowledging that others led their teams to the playoffs. FYI, Grimes didn't return punts this year, so KR was his only ST category.
