and if Rhode Island gets destroyed by the 2nd or 3rd best Ivy League team, how the f***** do you expect them to go undefeated in a higher ranked Patriot League, you moronic fool

well, lets look at the more recent playoffs, last year and this year
last year Lehigh made the playoffs and won its first round game against the MVFC champion. In 2010, however, Montana was so bad that it FAILED TO MAKE THE 2010 PLAYOFFS..
now to this year:
Lehigh is in the second round and Montana is in the second round

Can't wait to revisit this post after Saturday. Of course, after Lehigh gets their ass pounded by Towson you'll have skulked back under the bridge you came out from under and won't be around to take your beating anyways...

No more of a moron than you comparing one team's patriot league stats against another teams' CAA stats and thinking your team has a shot in HELL this weekend.The_Fan wrote:so are you that much of a moron to state that Rhode Island, which went 3-8, including getting destroyed by a second tier Ivy League team, would actually go undefeated in the Patriot League?AZGrizFan wrote:

Montana has the #4 seed with a 9-2 record, Kneehigh is on the road with a 10-1 record. Even the committee recognizes how weak Kneehigh's schedule is. I hope this helps.

the UNI that was the MVFC champsion and got beat by Lehigh in the first round of the 2010 playoffs
that UNI

Yep, that Montana who just throttled the #1 ranked team. And yes, that Kneehigh that's been overrated in the polls all year. Also the same Kneehigh who got blown out against the #2 CAA team last year in the second round. Wait, didn't you already play a CAA team this year? The #3 or #4 one if I recall. Don't know about Montana, but Lehigh is heading towards a quarterfinal game once it easily beats Towson by at least 2 TD's

It's a shame for you that regular season polls mean absolutely nothing once the playoffs start, nor do losses which occurred in September. Lehigh is also extremely overrated in the polls, and I suspect you'll find out why on Saturday.The_Fan wrote:Grizalltheway wrote:

Only an uneducated person like yourself would equate the MVFC with the CAA. There was a reason the committee put the MFVC autobid winner into a PLAY-IN game last year. Because they sucked.The_Fan wrote:AZGrizFan wrote:

oh, ok, so you are saying that Lehigh's only loss, an OT loss to ranked UNH in early September shouldn't be counted?
thanks for the info
so now, according to you, Lehigh would be undefeated, eh?

Re: Lehigh @ Towson Game Thread
The blowup has begun. So Fandusky likes using comparison games. Towson "barely" beat Rhode Island. What about the fact that both Towson AND Lehigh played New Hampshire in home games this season?
Against New Hampshire's awful defense, Lum had 3 interceptions including one that ended the game. Against Towson's "awful" pass defense, Decker threw for 3 interceptions. Sure he had almost 400 yards, but that doesn't mean anything when you have more picks than touchdowns, 3 to 1 ratio. Towson makes the big plays. They won 56-42. Lehigh lost 41-48. Oh, and Towson had 56 points through 3 quarters. Lehigh had 27 points through 3 quarters. Which team has the more high profile offense? I think Towson is a little more balanced. Also, UNH scored more points and had half as many turnovers against Lehigh. They had the ball for only 23 minutes against Lehigh and still managed 48 points. I don't think that proves to be a very good defense in anyone's mind. Sure they shut down Lafayette, but who hasn't.

Kneehigh LOST to the 3rd or 4th place CAA team, and last year was absolutely THROTTLED by the 2nd place CAA team. sorry, but are you forgetting that Lehigh scored more points against UNH than Towson did and only lost the game due to an completely wrong ref call in OT?
Towson's weak pass defense will have no answer for Lehigh QB Lum, who threw for 6 TD's against UNH
Lehigh's strong rush defense, on the other hand, will hold Towson RB West to under 120 yards rushing, as he had a very poor game in his last outing against an unranked non playoff Rhode Island with only 52 yards rushing, a 2.7 yard/rush result.
as Lehigh wins by over two TD's
[on another note, shouldn't you really stop with this message board posting?]
