WOW. What a time to tune in... what complete mental breakdown by the Wofford return man...

Wofford return man collects the ball in the endzone... lingers, but doesn't down it - panthers swoop in and take it out of his hand and fall on it for a TD... WOW.

I said slow not stop. You don't stop the TO, you try and slow it down and force mistakes which UNI has done in the 2nd half. Has Wofford made some bone-headed mistakes? Yes. Has UNI been lucky? Yes. Will it still count if UNI wins? Yes.

ehhh....we had just as many yards in the second as first. But we lost. mistakes killed us. I'm beyond words. UNI is a good team, but if I were them I'd hope they don't see GSU in the championship game.

We might have given up a lot of yards but I felt much better about our defense in the 3rd quarter than I did in the 1st or 2nd. Wofford's mistakes killed them tonight. I hope we don't face GSU either but I would rather face them with the experience of having played Wofford. If it comes down to that, the Panthers will have a better understanding of how the TO works.

UNI has been a fantastic second half team all year...

UNI has outscored oppopnents 196-125 in the first half, but the second half is 172-74 with the third quarter being the big difference being 79-13

I said ti leading into the game that the half time adjustments that the coaches will make will be key, and they were.

Think about this...Wofford scored less than .05 points per yard today....that is impossibly low.


Oh, and those defensive players I said would be difference makers with the way they flow to the ball were.

UNI was soundly defeated by NDSU earlier this year. They are pretenders. They are on their way out because this is the beginning of the "BISON ERA" a term the plow jockies at panther talk just cant handle!

Your team had 3 or 4 personal foul penalties, 2 or 3 illegal substitution penalties, multiple fumbles (just as I predicted by the way), multiple false starts, and "The Return"

This is what UNI has done a lot this year. Just find a way to win. We have won ugly a lot this year, and thats fine by me. Very similar to the Illinois State game in the regular season finale. They pretty much doubled us up in yardage, pays, and TOP, but UNI limited the damage and made all the big plays to win the game. Same story against Wofford today.

Wofford is good, and the triple option is always terribly difficult to defend. They certainly ran it very well today. But UNI found a way to win the game. UNI did not make mistakes, and took advantage of every single one of Woffords mistakes. Game over.
