Been to plenty Buffalo games. The FargoDome comes NO WHERE near close to Missoula, for not only game atmosphere, but tailgating and the city in general.

Wa-Griz was pretty full (I'd guess 23,500-24,000), other than parts of the upper deck. 5 minutes before kickoff it looked way more empty, like sub-20,000 empty.

22,005 was the number of tickets sold. What makes you think you have a better number? I sit on the 30 in the upper deck and there was no one to my left - only empty seats. Looking across to the West side, there were numerous empty seats. 22,000 is the average for the last 3 first week December games.

Our attendance was pathetic. A lot going on today with NCAA VB tourney hear, men's BB game, and wrestling. Weather didn't help either. Frickin weather guys making it sound like we are going to be covered in ice scared off some people that would have traveled here.

Appalachian home attendance was down 10% overall this year, but the playoff game was up from 13,322 last year in comparison, and roughly the same for the third round game last year against Villanova (15,706).

No. I just don't think any school would dare to under report a game to the NCAA, especially not Montana with O'Day sitting as the head of the committee. That wouldn't look so good.

Are you saying the Griz comp tickets and thus don't go reported to the NCAA since there wasn't any revenue associated with them? So the Griz could have 24K in the stands, but really only sold 22,005 tickets because the other 2K were given for free? I could believe that.

NDSU wouldn't have had 18,000 show up if the game was outdoors. The first playoff game in Montana is always the least attended of the season. I suppose the weather has a little bit to do with it.

- You place an order for the first round game and you are automatically on the hook for those same tickets for the subsequent home games, if played.

Season ticket holders can choose to automatically buy all potential playoff games ahead of time or they have till Tuesday evening of each week to buy that weeks tickets. If they don't by tuesday evening, their season tickets are released to the general public.

Well thankfully this is the last season that playing surface will be in the dome. I think UND and USD are also getting new turf so nobody will have that old crap anymore.

that should be a great trip. went to bozeman last year. decent game atmosphere. would love to go to missoula
