Can't really disagree with anything said here. UNI pushed the Griz around in all three phases of the game all night long. Some extremely questionable officiating, combined with massive doses of luck came together to allow the Grizzlies to eke this one out...

Really? What? You jokers haven't played **** this year. Your conference sucks, State is overrated and you had a patsy to start the playoffs.

What's the surprise? UNI regularly plays in more hostile venues than WG. Our schedule is tougher. We played and beat a much tougher first round opponent. We're in the playoffs regularly. We have decent coaches who have been to the NC and multiple semi and quarts. We have fast, tough kids. We're an underdog.

The Quarterback is a tough s.o.b.
Your schedule is tougher, we can't have ourselves on our schedule.
And your team definitely proved the underdog factor.

and since WA-Griz is your typical run of the mill D-1 dump... the homefield advantage you're bitching about in this thread most definitely should not have given us that 38 point lead. And if it did, well you sir, have contradicted yourself.

This is a way better team than the one we should have beat in week 3. During the broadcast last night the announcers pointed out that UM has 5 straight 25 pt + victories so including MSU, it's three straight solid teams they absolutely punished. It looks like their defense is back to its old stingy ways but the kids are now also figuring out the offense. Toss in some good special teams plays and it's a Hauck team on steroids. Pflugrad is beginning to leave his mark.
