The Big Sky is the best conference in the country, and outside of being in the same conference as MSU and UM you (and PSU) probably could have won any conference in the country outside of maybe the Southern.

Losing Jones really made you guys one dimensional. That was one heck of a dimension, albeit, but the Big Sky would have looked really different with Jones in the backfield.

Losing most of our OL had a bigger impact on our run game than Jones. Talley and Forte are two very talented and hard running backs, and did so behind a very pathwork OL that had a 3rd string TE under center for a while. But even without much of a threat from the ground game, nobody could stop us through the air.

I agree. Eastern would have been in the playoffs in any other conference. The MVFC is usually so traditionally good,that it seems ridiculous they are on the level of the Southland now. Ok, agreed. The BSC won the NC last year and looks very good right now.

But does that mean the MVFC is overrated? No.

Just a glass half full guy I guess. And we never talk sh!t til the end, cause it ain't over yet. A long road. And I've dealt with too many heartbreakers along the way not to know that. And enough sweet victory to crave it again.

I have dealt with heartbreakers as well, but isn't the spirit of competition one that allows you to talk shit to a potential future opponent, but give them a handshake after the game? I mean this is football, lets not stroke each others ego's, but talk about how we think we are better than everyone else, and when we win (or god forbid don't) then we can shake hands and say good game, but for now.....its blood for blood, and by the gallons.

I really like how you just throw away Sam before we play the game, but thats ok crown the big sky as the king of all the FCS. Pathetic play the game in front of you.
