The only serious opponent standing between Georgia Southern and the sweet glory of a trip to Frisco wears not gauche shades of green and yellow, but the rather more prosaic stripes of black and white! If this afternoon's hilarious nonsense was any indication of the quality of officiating to be expected-and no matter how scintillating the prospect of ND in December-the good people of Georgia might find their money better spent not on travel, but rather stuffed Bulldogs and Herschel Walker action figures!
On its face, this match-up favors GS in every category, and at every position. Unfortunately, when playing at "the enclosure", NDSU consistently finds itself lining up with 7 more players than their opponent.

I've called it in the other threads and I'm calling it here. As long as NDSU plays in the Dome they are going to win. Everyone said how they couldn't beat....well...every team. How will they slow them down? With Defense you idiots. I hate it. I hate that they are going to win, because the best of all you other piss-ant conferences can't beat them.....Hell State scored on them and kept the damn game close for 3 quarters, and we're in the MVFC, the worst overrated conference in the whole damn country(according to some drunken grizzly fans thread, who spouted off before he watched MSU play today). All you idiots bet on Lehigh and JMU. What did they do? Nothing...couldn't even frickin' score on them! You all make me sick....would one of you idiots beat these effin' prairie cows so I don't have to hear about it for a year. It's bad enough when they lament about how they lost...but do any of you realize how bad it will be if they actually win the NC! DO YOU?!? DO YOU?!?! While I love your passion, I only wish it were accompanied by heightened attention to grammatical detail. Lose not your hatred for the absurdly coddled bison, but temper it with Spellcheck.

This is getting ridiculous, so I had to create an account to get a point across.
All of you NDSU haters, you all said that Lehigh was going to score all night on us. They have arguably the best QB in the FCS, and they average over 30 points a game, so in all your opinions, Lehigh was going to shut us out. Guess what? WE SHUT THEM DOWN!!!!! Now you say that Ga. Southern is going to blow us out if we play fundamental defense...which is what we have been playing this entire season, allowing an average of 14 points a game.
I understood everyone's opinions early in the season when they said that they won't buy into this NDSU championship-caliber team until they beat UNI. Once we beat UNI, you all decided we had to win the entire conference. Once we won the conference, we had to beat James Madison and Lehigh, which obviously we did. And now all of you still can't see what every Bison fan sees when they watch them play their hearts out every week. What does NDSU have to do, besides win the championship, to show all of you that they are not just some overrated MVC team? Quit making excuses, and accept the Bison for who they are. You don't have to like them, but at least respect them.

How often does NDSU see the triple option? If GSU doesn't turn the ball over they win I think with simple ball control offense. So far in the playoffs the TO hasn't been stopped by opposing defenses. NDSU runs a different offense than Maine and ODU (less passing, more power run game like a typical MVFC squad) and I think that plays in the favor of Brent Russell and the GSU defense. I'll take GSU by 10, 31-21.
