A little worried about the travel especially with our Finals this week, I hope our guys aren't too distracted. Should be a great game. The last two challenged us defensively and I think this one should challenge us offensively outside the friendly confines of Paulson.. I feel alot better playing Montana's style as opposed to those spread teams we just went through.

We've got to clean up the penalties and fumbles but I definitely feel like we got a good shot at winning this.

I hate that they are going to win, because the best of all you other piss-ant conferences can't beat them.....Hell State scored on them and kept the damn game close for 3 quarters, and we're in the MVFC, the worst overrated conference in the whole damn country(according to some drunken grizzly fans thread, who spouted off before he watched MSU play today). All you idiots bet on Lehigh and JMU. What did they do? Nothing...couldn't even frickin' score on them! You all make me sick....would one of you idiots beat these effin' prairie cows so I don't have to here about it for a year. It's bad enough when they lament about how they lost...but do any of you realize how bad it will be if they actually win the NC! DO YOU?!? DO YOU?!?! That ugly logo will be at the top of this Forum page for a whole f$%#king year!

P.S. Darrell please send the Men's UND Basketball team down to play our MBB next time. Is was a little unsettling watching our guys treat your women like that. :coffee:
While I love your passion, I only wish it were accompanied by heightened attention to grammatical detail. Lose not your hatred for the absurdly coddled bison, but temper it with Spellcheck.

So far in the playoffs the TO hasn't been stopped by opposing defenses. NDSU runs a different offense than Maine and ODU (less passing, more power run game like a typical MVFC squad) and I think that plays in the favor of Brent Russell and the GSU defense. I'll take GSU by 10, 31-21.

Well shit man it was only Alabama. Point is this isn't some fluke offense. We've proven over three decades now that it works and wins championships.

I have a lot of respect for GSU and the Triple Option and you had a great game against Alabama. NDSU can give up a lot of yards and still win. And no, we are not Alabama, but neither was App St this year or Delaware last year. Right now I'm looking at the game as a tossup.

:thumb: I'm with ya one that one especially at yalls house. I have alot of respect for that D you have. I mainly responding to the other guy who seems to be unaware of our school's history or how good this offense has been.

Your defense has allowed over 20 about as many times as we've been held below 30 this year. A very good matchup.

Should be a good one, hard to predict. I guess I will go with NDSU just because they are at home, but I would like to see a Montana-GSU match up in the finals.

Two strong forces at work: Coaching and Talent/Athleticism.

I have a lot of confidence in NDSUs ability to coach an effective defense to the GSU triple option attack. There is no body of knowledge greater than NDSUs when it comes to the option. The option can be defensed and they can be forced into a dive team that tries to throw. If that works The BISON win.

Because The BISON Coaching Staff will have the answer to the GSU offense it will come down to execution. Can the BISON players out play the GSU fellers (sic). I say yes. Early thought.

It's nearly a fact of life that we're probably going to break a few. Even against Delaware (last year) App St and Alabama the offense found ways to make explosive plays. The key is you have limit us to two to three yards a pop, get in Jaybo's face, stay disciplined, capitalize on the inevitable handful of fumbles and ride out the big plays. Do that and handle your business on offense and you'll likely find yourself in Frisco Jan 7. So far not many have been able to do it but your defense certainly looks more up to the task then some of the weaker CAA front 7's we just ran through.

Yeah and this year's Bama team had issues showing up vs. inferior competition before laying the hammer down in the 2nd half. See: Kent State

With respect sir, I know my SEC football and the Golden Flashes didn't even sniff the endzone till the second half of thier game with Bama and was held well under 100 total yards on offense. This was also Bama's first game of the year and as such had a slew of self inflicted turnovers. Completely different scenario
