With all due respect this isn't some midwest highscool or Military FBS school trying to compete with vastly superior opponents. Take this as an East Coast Bias but I'll take the athletes in the SOCON over the MVC anyday of the week.

And this isn't your dad's triple option. We've mixed dozens of new looks and formations borrowing heavily from spread option and pistol looks until the other team isn't exactly sure what they'll see next. Reverses, screens, we've even proven that when we need it, we have a formidable passing game. Because of the success of coaches Paul Johnson and Jeff Monken we're likely to see a 2nd wave of mid major FBS schools begin to adopt triple option fundamentals into their playbooks over the next decade. UAB wanted to interview our Head coach a week ago before he turned them down.

I'm sure the NDSU coaches and players already know this but they're not going to be able to bring their B+ game in on defense and come out with a W. It's going to take everything they got physically and mentally and even then it may or may not be good enough. Any coach will tell you it's god awfully hard to prepare for. Win or lose I guarantee those Bison players are going to have an all new respect for this style when the game is over.

I feel I would be remiss if I didn't give the Bisons some credit, particularly their Defense and down hill running game. You might very well be the biggest and most disciplined FCS defense we see all year. If this was in Statesboro, all things being equal and failing any major injuries I'm not sure you guys would win. As the case is, its in Fargo and from everything I've seen and read it's one hell of a venue. As someone said earlier right now its probably a coin flip. Should be a great and competitive game.

This is most certainly NOT a coin flip. GSU will find it VERY difficult to account for all 18 of the NDSU players on the field at any given time.
The only coins being flipped are landing in the pockets of the "officiating" crew, and bear the corrupt stench of the fargo faithful. This is the sad reality.

Oh well, at least you get to enjoy the metropolitan splendor of Fargo for a day or two, eh?

Neither you or JBB and the Bear have ever been there, but I would be interested in what the GSU following has to say after the game. Nice reviews from the Lehigh media and fans.

This one's like a crackerjack in a pancake! A puppy in a purse! Can't wait to watch the ND-18 play Lucy to GSU's Charlie Brown over and over and over again!! I am normally not a fan of indoor football, I've been to Lambeau field in Novemer, December and January for games. None have been as cold as some of the outdoor games at old Dakotah Field. When that Alberta Clipper blows across the Canada all the way to Fargo with nothing to even slow it down, it goes right to the bones and freezes you from the inside out.
