I did have to grudgingly admire the chutzpah on display in last weeks game against Lehigh when, after a particularly hilarious PI call against the visitors (there wasn't a Lehigh player within 20 yards of the Bison receiver), the referee jogged down the Bison sideline, high-fiving and fist-bumping several of the NDSU staff!!

At the tailgate for JMU the general feeling was it would have to be a dome. A La The Metrodome type of building to NDSU scale?

I thought it could be an outdoor facility. Not much agreement with me there.

I also think it has to have the capability to support excellent OOC opponents say Iowa State, Nebraska, Kansas etc.

Just where is the $$$ coming from? You still don't have enough money for a new BSA, and don't look at the taxpayers we are still funding a sales tax for a deversion plan that hasn't been built yet. Maybe the state could lend..nope.

The Dome authority has the money, with the help of NDSU, the State and other friends of The BISON. I believe this is the reason the Dome Authority didnt help fund the BB arena. Once the BB arena is built it will be time. The Fabulous Fargo Dome will become the home of NDSU Hockey.

UND coaches wanted to play NDSU on an even field. I guess even to NDSU means more scholarships for NDSU vs DII scholarships for UND. It would be like NDSU doing a home and home every year with Nebraska. Why don't they set that up. To NDSU thats an even playing field.
