3 playoff teams after a trip to ACC country. It could be a challenging start for Coach Gill.

I see 2-2 or 3-1 out of that. Only guaranteed loss there is the Griz. The only other game on that list I see Liberty even remotely losing is Lehigh. Wake may as well be Sun Belt/C-USA/MAC for football.

Our final OOC game will be a home game vs. an FCS opponent.

I love seeing the tougher schedule for us. We've proven that smoking a bunch of slugs in non-conference gets us no love from selection committee. Outside of running the conference table this is our only shot.

Liberty would be wise to have demanded the first game of this series to be in Lynchburg. Montana has a history of backing out of return games - just ask Cal-Poly.

Everyone at Liberty who knows anything about this knows that it is a bad deal for Liberty. It's great to play an FCS opponent of this caliber, but there is no way Montana will honor this contract by the time '15 rolls around. It will not be beneficial for either team by then.

Montana has never violated a schedule contract. Home and homes have buy-out clauses that both parties agree to and work both ways. Montana has exercised their option to buy out games, usually because a very high paying BCS opportunity became available that more than covered the buyout. The obvious counter to this option is to insist on no buyout clause - or a very high buyout option. But the statement Montana will not honor a contract is total BS.
