Purdue had a two-digit lead midway through the second half, but suffered a serious implosion in losing to Butler on a buzzer beater.

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

Butler is down this year obviously but still is a very strong mid-major program.
