Its not like the guy has no football coaching experience.

He was the Head Coach of a UFL team.....

Seems to me like Wall Street was his side job that made him a crap load of dough for 15 years and football was his real passion.

He was defensive coordinator for Dartmouth - sure it was a long time ago, but its something.

In the last 25 years he has 1 year of college coaching experience. Does he have any connections with possible assistant coaches? Does he have any connections with high schools for recruiting? Does he realize all the compliance issues he has deal with?

As I just posted on coastalfans, I just watched the press conference introducing MoJo, even though I was there in person.
I believe he is going to bring a new level of football, and excitement to Coastal Carolina Football. The man impresses me.

A member of the board has said that they BoT is looking to oust the President. These shady dealings don't bode well. I have to agree with Thigpen, the coaches of Golf, SOccer, Baseball, Basketball, etc.. better start selling out the games and earning championships.

After watching the video... I think its a good hire. Was the ex-coach going to take CCU to the big dance? I dont think so. So at least this guys' got money.

It's just a disappointment to see someone so easily quotable gone from the FCS and the state of South Carolina. There is a lot of good football being played not in Clemson and Columbia.

Bennett took CCU to the playoffs twice, twice more than any Liberty coach.
