Rose Bowl
Anyone else catching this? Every year I swear off watching bowl games, but this one is just too entertaining to look away...56 total points in the first half.

Re: Rose Bowl
Thomas has to be the most electrifying player in CFB since Reggie Bush.

Re: Rose Bowl
I was actually about to come start a thread on this game if one wasn't already started. I was just going to say:
"This is a good football game."
Hope that doesn't jinx it but so far it is. 38-35 Wisconsin now.

Re: Rose Bowl
Maybe you need to go back and watch Reggie Bush highlights from his USC days before you make prisoner of the moment comments like that. Thomas is electrifying and could win a Heisman in time, but I'm not ready to call him Reggie Bush 2.0 yet.Grizalltheway wrote:Thomas has to be the most electrifying player in CFB since Reggie Bush.![]()

He'll be a Heisman finalist next season when James is gone and he's the feature back. Keep in mind that he's a true freshmen.rkwittem wrote:Maybe you need to go back and watch Reggie Bush highlights from his USC days before you make prisoner of the moment comments like that. What a cheap fumble by #4 to effectively end the game.

Re: Rose Bowl
How incredibly stupid by Wisconsin. I can not believe they'd try to spike the ball and stop the clock in that situation instead of just running a play. Stupid. Stupid. Stupd. Good GRIEF.

So, who carried the game? I wasn't able to get it at home, and I was too sick to go to a pizzeria to watch.

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

Freshman DeAnthony Thomas for Oregon and receiver Lavasier Tuinei for Oregon.SuperHornet wrote:So, who carried the game? I wasn't able to get it at home, and I was too sick to go to a pizzeria to watch.
Wilson and Ball were outstanding for Wisconsin as well.
Thomas averaged 77.5 yards per carry en route to two long touchdowns

That's a big monkey! Harvard actually beat Oregon in the Rose Bowl of 1920. Back when men were men and helmets were leather...DuckDuckGriz wrote:Feels sooo good. Big monkey off our backs.

Being a Jacks and Badgers fan and you being a Ducks and Griz fan, I officially have to hate you. Its not personal, but after the manner of the losses my teams sustained in the last match-ups of the favorite teams, I am compelled to hate you.DuckDuckGriz wrote:Feels sooo good.
