It's great when your backup QB steps in and throws for over 400 yards and 6TD's to beat the motor city kitty's.

Yes but its not all that great to give up 520 passing yds while winning as well.Where was the pass rush??Gil Dobie wrote:It's great when your backup QB steps in and throws for over 400 yards and 6TD's to beat the motor city kitty's.

I hear coach is seriously considering sitting down the entire squad the first week of playoffs to get rested up for the second round.

I have heard from a good source, that the Pack isn't leaving Green Bay until the Super Bowl.VictorG wrote:I have chairs out in my living room for them all to come over and watch the 1st round with me......Wedgebuster wrote:I hear coach is seriously considering sitting down the entire squad the first week of playoffs to get rested up for the second round.

The 20's is great weather for Lambeau, I've been there in the teens and 20's and had a blast. The only person the weather affected in the last Packers/Giants playoff game was #4 Brent or Bert or WTF his name was.VictorG wrote:I hope their defense came back..................NY DL worries me!Gil Dobie wrote:The Pack is Back..

Too many turnovers and dropped passes to beat a team like the Giants, going to have to wait until next year.

Too shi**y of a defense, and the worst pass defense in NFL history is the problem.Gil Dobie wrote:Too many turnovers and dropped passes to beat a team like the Giants, going to have to wait until next year.

That's why they need to hold on to the ball, because they have to outscore the other team.BDKJMU wrote:Too shi**y of a defense, and the worst pass defense in NFL history is the problem.Gil Dobie wrote:Too many turnovers and dropped passes to beat a team like the Giants, going to have to wait until next year.

Re: Green Bay
Well, to answer the original question on this thread, to myself no less, is just good enough to end up with a crappy first round draft pick.

Green Bay and Detroit need to hope that this is a deep draft for defensive backs.

Re: Green Bay
Packers problem wasn't DBs. It was the lack of pass rush opposite of Matthews. Losing Jenkins hurt more than anyone thought it would. Losing Collins didn't help matters either.AshevilleApp wrote:Wedgebuster wrote:Well, to answer the original question on this thread, to myself no less, is just good enough to end up with a crappy first round draft pick.

Oline, linebacker, DE are the three biggest issues IMO

Re: Green Bay
Going to bump this one up from last year, you know when Green Bay was undefeated, and the question was could they continue on through the super bowl with a defense that was giving up miles of yardage..
Well, no they couldn't and didn't, but this week they are coming off a well timed bye weekend, they are beat up injury wise just like two years ago, and after having watched the two "elite" teams in the NFL look rather pedestrian, I am saying..
LOOK OUT, THE PACK IS BACK!

Can't even beat a team with a rookie QB, a terrible defense and a coach undergoing chemo.

We don't have a Muscle Hampster... he's in Tampa Bay. We do have a WolfBadger, Beast Mode, and Sea Hulk.Gil Dobie wrote:Still in the playoff chase at 6-3 without a RB of note.Grizalltheway wrote:Can't even beat a team with a rookie QB, a terrible defense and a coach undergoing chemo.
