Nice signing. Boras dropped the ball on this one. 4 year deal for a person who hasn't closed for a long time? Dumb idea. But good luck to Madson, he's been awesome ever since he came up with the organization!
And since the Reds signed him, the Phillies get 2 draft picks. One is the 14th overall (I think) and the second is a supplementary. Very nice!

Madson was a nice setup man. A bit of a mental midget as a closer though.

Madson seemed like a cool guy in the clubhouse. That's the main thing that bothers me with the signing of paps. His attitude may be a problem.
