I was just making fun of UNI's practice of painting numbers on the wall of yir dome. I don't care what you do. But you know...trolls from UNI used to come over to bisonville to brag about those numbers...and tell us that we would never get a National Championship.

When we were in DII & the North Central Conference together...it was the same. NDSU went to bowl games and won the NC...& UNI stayed at home.

Wow, thats all I can say. Some of these NDSU fans are really jerks, making the entire NDSU fan base look bad.

One thing that might help clear the air a bit and allow folks like DJH clear their heads is an acceptance of the new order in the New Age of BISON FOOTBALL.

Just like most folks in this division that say its won on the field, DJH and others never seem to accept that fact. Thats one thing this thread highlights. They are always citing past statistics to try and make themselves look better this year. This past season UNI didnt win a big game. They were 0-fer in the big game.

The new order makes the goal of the MVFC title out of reach for UNI. Of course there is the shared conference title and why not? We give a lot of people food stamps too, but there is only 1 auto-qualifying playoff bid. That will be going to NDSU. A realistic goal for UNI now, in the NEW BISON ERA, is the at-large and then on to the Also-Ran Bowl in Montana someplace.

I'm referring to the fact that when NDSU and UNI were in DII, NDSU won titles and UNI could not. Now that both teams are FCS, NDSU has won a title while UNI still has won 0. It's not just FCS, its been this way forever. But at least UNI has all those conference titles
