#1 how the fxck does 5 teams in the same conf get in, and 4 of 5 gets dropped in the same round?
#2 I hope the Sky gets 5 teams in when they goto 13 teams.
#3 If Montana wins, that will put the Big Sky in ALL of the last 4 NC games, while only getting 2 teams in a year...

We just unofficially announced that we recruited a couple players for 2012 that will solidify our deep run in the next round of playoffs. In the meantime, EWU will miss the playoffs again, as usual, in 2012 because they'll still be in hangover mode thinking about 2010.

Me...Oh I'm a USC guy, but had some friends from FCS yammering in my ear day and night about their Playoff system. And I'm a football fan, so I watched, read the boards and I can tell you this. We may not have a playoff system, but our Championship games, they have the proper crews on hand; yes sir. That we do have. I like the playoffs, but it's far from perfect. But I guess those Blue boys could tell you that.

Look Randumb Fagg, I know its easy to get caught up in all the mudslinging and wat not.. but #1 stfu, and #2 That play was reviewed a few times and the refs decided EWU's rb made the first down. BTW wasnt the score 19-0? The game was lost by UD when they gave up 20 UNANSWERED. Still,they had a chance to win it by a FG but could convert on 4th down to get into FG range. It is what it is! #3 HOW THE FXCK is a bowl system better, when: A) FBS fans are begging for a playoff.. B) Obama wants a playoff.. & C) Undefeated teams cant compete for a title..& D) the past 5 or 6 Championships were won by teams in the SAME DAMN CONFERENCE?

That same conference had TWO TEAMS in the most recent title game.

So it seems to me that THE FBS POWERS THAT BE decided 5 or 6 years ago who would compete in the BC$ title game. Thats why FBS has no playoff.

You sure are right about those pesky SEC teams, course me looking at that nice little History section, kind seems to me that those CAA boys had something similiar going. Of course by this thread all it will take will be one year when the SEC doesn't make it and that'll be a wash and we can proclaim them DEAD as well.

I'm just an outsider here, but it's one thing for a ref to blow a call. A call is call. It's another to not have the proper crew cost a team a victory. And by most accounts, you didn't get that yard. Now that's just criminal. I wonder if they made sure they had that chain gang in place this year, or if they too thought it was just no big deal. Not that I mind though, it made for good misery to read. And it was damn interesting.

But this playoff system and selection, I've been reading about it, since you brought it up. Isn't the head of the selection committe and employee of a certain Big Sky Conference? That might be a conflict of interest.

And how bout that MEAC getting an automatic bid. Seems to me they haven't shown up in quite sometime. So, is the playoff system you have, really the best?
