You are from the lets play em camp. You have never understood the negative and destructive dynamic associated with playing em, or being associated with em. Take a look at what their HEAD BASKETEBALL COACH GENE ROUBECK said about NDSU fans after some good natured and high spirited antics.

He (Gene Roubeck) called NDSU fans blowhard racists.

This reveals their culture. Its a culture of hate. Its a zero sum game. there is no cooperation, alliance or association with them. There are some in our administration and leadership that understand that. Others do not. That divides NDSU.

Take a look at the Dakota Big 3 and all the positives on and off the field, how the Universities are aligned, how they cooperate, how they associate with one another. Contrast that with the realtionship with UND. Take a look at all their relationships even with the NCAA. The Big Sky is starting out rocky too.

I dont think the example set by the basketball game was any foundation to build a series on, especially in other sports.

What is at stake between the Dakota Big is something outsiders are not part of. The BISON didnt win the Little Brown Jug the last couple times they were at the Gophers. They didnt win the MAC Conference Championship when they beat Central Michigan. They didnt get a win in the Big 12 when they downed Kansas. They did get the Border Marker when they beat the Jackrabbits though.

The NDSU BISON Did win the FCS National Championship Football trophy after 3 sold out playoff games in the insanely popular Fabulous Fargo Dome. Its one of the nations top football venues and has been celebrated in the national press as one of the best home fields in the country.

Its the biggest sports stage in North Dakota. The biggest games in North Dakota are played when the NDSU BISON take the field at the insanely popular Faboulous Fargo Dome. Right now its the crown jewel in the Dakota Big 3 football crown.

By the way, USD is a transition school so any football wins over them are not official Big Dakota 3 wins. They can be scored with all the UND lower division games though.

I suppose everyone can have a Dakota Big 3. There is no harm in fooling around with the jokes. Officially the Dakota Big 3 are: NDSU, SDSU and Jr. member USD (still in transition but eligible for the Dakota College Football Championship if they play SDSU and NDSU.) The round-robin crowns the best college football team in the Dakota Territories. Currently NDSU has the Title!

But winning and losing doesn't matter in the Big 3.

He is ignored by many on here. He wouldn't even go away after this embarrassing tirade. Well, he did go away for a short while, but then came back.
