Towson has 5 transfers signed as of right now. A DT from Western Michigan, an OT from a Cali JuCo, two SEC CBs and another Db from Rutgers.

Of the freshman class, Max Tejada from Orange Park Florida seems to be the biggest stud of the class. 6-2 280 DT. Three year starter for The Bolles School. SCBH or TJ, you guys ever heard of him.
"Elaine, you're from Baltimore, right?"
"Yes, well, Towson actually."

Brendon Gannon * DT 6-2 260 Halethorpe, Md./Cardinal Gibbons H.S. (Western Michigan)

Jordan Love * CB 6-0 190 Glen Allen, Va./Deep Run H.S. (Georgia)
Jake McDowell * OT 6-5 290 Los Alamitos, Calif./Los Alamitos H.S. (Golden West J.C.)
Christian Carpenter ATH 6-2 185 Aberdeen, Md/Aberdeen H.S.
Rob Chesson RB 5-9 175 Millersville, Md./Old Mill H.S.
Willie Ponder WR 5-11 175 Chesapeake, Va./Western Branch H.S.
Fred Santarelli OT 6-6 295 Philadelphia, Pa./The Hill School

Shayne Sullivan OT 6-6 285 Crofton, Md./Archbishop Spalding H.S.
Max Tejada DL 6-2 285 Orange Park, Fla./The Bolles School

No Twerp transfer that I have heard of. Might have something to do with Ambrose's connection to Edsall. I do know that Carpenter and Sullivan are two being recruited and verbally committed to UMD, but dropped off the radar when Locksley was hired.

EWU's 2012 Signees

Image

Of note:

Dalis Bruce - 3 star WR/DB, had offers from Colorado, Oregon State, Utah, Montana State, Utah State and San Diego. He has also been hearing from Cal, UCLA and Oregon.

Jordan Pulu - Pulu is listed at 6-2 235lbs and plays inside linebacker, he originally committed to Washington State this summer. With Paul Wulff out and Mike Leach in at Pullman it seems that Pulu lost his offer. ESPN has him rated at three stars and the 26th best inside linebacker nationally and 9th best prospect in the state. Brother of UW transfer DT Andru Pulu. Also had an offer from Wyoming.

I haven’t had a lot of time to dig through the recruits to see what we got but it looks like we brought in players in areas where we needed some depth. QB is out biggest need and we brought in a JR FBS drop down and a FR. I was hoping we would have added a bit more size & depth on the interior DL but we’ll see how that shakes out. I like the added size at WR that was brought in to fill some depth there. A couple OL recruits with size too but we have some good depth returning there so it wasn’t a priority (at least in my mind).
